Dialogue forum: The informal space for students and management
In the late afternoon hours of 16 April, 30 active and committed students squeezed themselves into a packed room to participate in the Pro-Rector’s dialogue forum with SDU’s students. Dialogforum, as the forum is called, has succeeded in creating a meeting forum in which the top management and students can have an informal, ongoing and close dialogue on topics within education that are important for the students’ well-being and study environment.
Many thanks to our committed students, who show up for each other and make sure that well-being and the study environment are high on the agenda.

Pre-departure: Exchange of experiences about stays abroad
Two great events for future exchange students were held at SDU Odense and SDU Sønderborg during April. A volunteer corps of 30 former exchange students shared their experiences with SDU students who will be studying abroad in the coming academic year.

Quality: Review of SDU’s Quality System
Everyone has been expressing great interest in contributing to SDU’s future quality system. Most re-cently, 30 student representatives from all faculties and several of SDU’s campuses participated in a public meeting on the revision of the quality policies.

SDU Takeover: New student teachers will be hired
One hundred and thirteen qualified students have applied for a position as a student teacher – that is more than we need, but we are delighted about the interest.
Many thanks to all faculties for their cooperation with sharing the job advertisement, which has been absolutely pivotal for the large number of applications!

uniTEST: The admission test for quota 2 is successfully over for this year!
Two hundred and sixty students helped 6070 applicants in quota 2 participate in and complete the uniTEST.
In addition to the students who took on the role of both uniTEST invigilator and ambassador for SDU, many different departments across campuses collaborated on one common goal: to hold quota 2 tests for potential future SDU students.
Many thanks to all those involved: the 260 students and colleagues from the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, the Library, SDU Analytics, SDU Digital, SDU HR, SDU IT, SDU Communications, SDU RIO, Technical Services, Financial Service and SDU Student Services, who have each contributed to a smooth-running process and a successful uniTEST 2024.
